Babs - Vocals...

Babs was born in Lindau, South Germany, and made her singing debut at the age of 3 at Kindergarten. This was soon followed by joining her Dad and Sister to complete the world renown 'Lehner Trio' and yes - they were wearing Dirndls and Lederhosen! After a few years of yodelling and singing heart wrenching folklore songs about the mountains, she discovered dancing and Soul/Funk/Jazz music much to her father's dismay, who was heavily into Marching Bands, Swing Orchestras and Opera.

After taking her A-Levels she decided to go to England as an au-pair for just 9 months and there she discovered the abundance of dance, music and art. Soon the plans of becoming

a teacher back in Germany were ditched in favour of becoming a dancer and she went on to study Dance and Musical Theatre in Guildford. Finishing with two Diplomas, Babs went on to perform all over the world appearing in Casinos, Clubs, Cruise ships, Musicals (Sweeney Todd, Perfectly Frank), Theatres (Wyndhams - West End, to name one impressive venue),with various ballet and dance companies (such as the Argentinian Luis Montez Production and the sickly named International Paradise Diamonds).

Finally thanks to an Englishman she hung up her dancing shoes to pursue her teaching and singing career in England. She was appearing with various bands like 'Nobody Called Ruth', 'Julie Iz', 'Wildcard' and others before she finally joined All Wrapped Up.

Babs absolutely loves the groove and versatility of this band and likes to think that her dynamic personality shines through in her performance.
